The Best Course You'll Ever Do!

Regarded by many as the best course they ever do, rescue diver develops the skills needed to

respond to a diving emergency situation.

A pre-requisite for the PADI Rescue Diver is a current first aid qualification which is typically the

Emergency First Responder EFR qualification. This must have been obtained within the last 24

months.

Rescue diver course starts with knowledge development using the PADI Rescue Diver Manual

and the PADI Rescue DVD, followed by skill development in the swimming pool. After every

theory session there will be a practical session to cover all the skills needed ready for you to

go to the open water.

We then have four Open Water Rescue scenarios. These scenarios include dealing with

distressed divers under water, missing divers and unconscious divers underwater.

  • Self rescue

  • Recognising and managing stress in other divers

  • Emergency management and equipment

  • Rescuing panicked divers

  • Rescuing unresponsive divers

After this you will then have some study sessions with us, where we go over each chapter with

you and make sure you fully understand everything you need to.

To finish there will be a multiple choice final exam
